Being a boutique builder means that each pair of speakers are individually assembled by hand and auditioned with our own ears before they ever make it to your living space. We are not interested in being compared to ordinary speaker manufacturers - with Schmidt, expect the extraordinary!
Our Team
Glenn (design/ build) is our "Master Creator" & his unique ability to see an idea past all the sawdust & glue is uncanny. Jon-George (design/ marketing) has been "audio-nuts" since the ripe age of about seven, he also hosts (just for fun) YouTube audio review site "1jgp1 The Vintage Vibe". For the two of them, this is much more than a hobby; In fact, omnipolar speakers have become a bit of an (dare I say) obsession...
Our Products
Introducing U-biq-ui-tous V.2 (meaning: present, appearing, or found everywhere). These omnipolar speakers are the evolution of our V.1 coaxial based speakers. The V.2 has a f3 of 37 HZ (before room loading) and a very natural curve across the whole frequency range. Omnipolar audio speakers designs can provide an incomparable soundstage where the speaker uniquely interacts with the room; However, where most speaker manufacturers fail is in providing also the focused sound projection of traditional box-type speakers...This is where the Ubiquitous speaker excels! Not only does your soundstage project large, but the speaker still satisfies the listener(s) with clear & focused sound.
